Located in the heart of Garrett County Maryland, we pride ourselves in giving the best quality work, at the most reasonable price. For years, we have remained one of the lowest priced taxidermy, as well as meat processing shop in the area.
Our Taxidermy shop, started by James and Ellen W. McCrobie, Jr., has been around since 1985. We started doing deer processing in 2005, after Bender Enterprises (Down the Road), retired. We continued their family business, where it continues to have a family focus. We provide the same services as they have always provided, including their same bologna recipe. In 2009 we added several new varieties of bologna, and have added features such as cheese.
In 2009, we started taking appointments for year-round custom meat processing for beef, swine, etc. Our services include all of those expected from a meat processing facility. As a bonus feature, EJ's Meat's also has a farm slaughter service, providing the pick-up of all animals of those who request.
